It was found that vitamin B12 inhibits production of cytokines and can trap nitric oxide, making it less harmful. One study reported in the British Journal of Dermatology1 investigated the effect of a topical application of a vitamin B12 cream on eczema. For all participants, the severity of eczema was significantly less when treated with vitamin B12 cream. Both the doctors and the study participants rated the vitamin B12 cream superior to the placebo.

 

We have been having very good results from vitamin B12, 0.07% cream that we prepare in our pharmacy. It seems to help reduce irritation and inflammation of psoriasis and eczema.

There are no added drugs, fragrances, colors, parabens, or preservatives - just vitamin B12 in a smooth cream base. Its pink (looks like sherbet) but doesn't stain when it’s rubbed in well.
