There are countless people who make a significant impact on our lives. I'd be hard pressed to recall most of them. There are people today who influence my thoughts and actions. These are good people who are not influenced by the status quo. They are not actually rebels in the field of health care, but they recognize that the standard approach is often not the best. These are the people who would think twice - or three times - before jumping off a bridge "just because their friends did it".

I am inserting this brief list of people I turn to today, not as an endorsement, but as a way of thanking them for their positive influence on my life and the lives of others.
