Are there ways to treat a UTI that don't require an antibiotic?
There is an effective urinary tract natural remedy and it's a type of sugar called D-Mannose. Most of the time, the UTI is caused by E coli (almost 90%) and will respond to D-Mannose treatment with significant improvement in just a day. (Even though symptoms are improved within 24 hours, D-mannose should be continued for 2 to 3 days after the last symptom is gone, just to make sure). Just add a half to a full teaspoonful of D-Mannose powder to a glass of water and drink it every 3 hours. 

A Word of Caution...If a UTI treated with D-mannose does not show significant improvement within 24 hours (about 10 percent of cases), it is likely that the cause is not E. coli, and you should contact your doctor as soon as possible.

People who experience recurring UTI's are a special situation. The fundamental approach to recurring UTI's is prevention.

The following techniques must be included in every urinary tract home remedy;

  • Drink plenty of clean water; 8 to 10 large glasses each day
  • Use a half teaspoon of D-Mannose once daily to prevent infection
  • Use a good probiotic every day to keep your E Coli under control
